Next to the face, the human hand is a person's most expressive feature. At the Academy of Cosmetology Arts, you can learn to take care of the hands and feet,
allowing people to express themselves with confidence and composure in their daily lives. By choosing to specialize in nail care, you will be joining one of the fastest
growing areas of the beauty profession. Due to the expanding growth of this six billion dollar industry, many specialists end up owning their own Nail Care Centers.
The Nail Technology program at ACA explores the art of nail care in both classroom and practical settings where only odorless product is used. This part time program allows the student
to continue with their current profession as they prepare to embark in their new career. This 600 hour program includes instruction in:
- Nail art
- Manicures and pedicures
- Hand and foot massage
- Hot oil manicures
- Sculptured Nails
- And much more
Upon completion of the Nail Technology Program, the student will be prepared for
salon / spa appropriate methods while meeting the required elements
for the Colorado State Nail Technician Licensing Exam.
